What is CBDA?

CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the raw cannabis plant. It is the acidic precursor to CBD (cannabidiol), which means that CBDA is converted into CBD through a process called decarboxylation.

CBDA is typically found in higher concentrations in raw cannabis plants and may have potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, and anti-anxiety effects. However, more research is needed to fully understand the potential therapeutic effects of CBDA.

CBDA can be taken orally in its raw form, or decarboxylated to convert it into its active form (CBD). This can be achieved through heating, such as smoking, vaporizing, or cooking. CBDA can also be converted into CBD through a process called decarboxylation, which can be done through exposure to heat or light, or through chemical processes.

It's important to note that the appropriate dosage of CBDA, CBD, or any other cannabinoid will depend on several factors, including the individual's weight, metabolism, tolerance, and the condition being treated. Anyone interested in using cannabis or its derivatives for medicinal purposes should consult with a healthcare professional or qualified cannabis healthcare provider.

CBDA Research Shows Hope!

Anxiety/Depression

Nausea

Anti-Seizure

Inflamation

MAY HAVE ANTI-ANXIETY/ANTI-DEPRESSANT PROPERTIES
Researchers have found that CBDA is effective as an antidepressant at doses 10 to 100 times less than the dosage size required of CBD.

MAY HAVE ANTI-NAUSEA PROPERTIES
Guelph University researchers found that CBDA was a potent medicine against nausea and vomiting caused by motion sickness or toxin-induced nausea.

MAY HAVE ANTI-SEIZURE PROPERTIES
Research has found that lower doses of CBDA were required to be effective in reducing seizures compared to CBD.

MAY SHOW ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES
Preliminary research suggests CBDA might work in the same way as NSAIDS but without the damaging effects to the stomach and intestines.
